A Vastu consultation studies the layout, direction and use of a property and recommends changes based on the principles of Vastu Shastra. At SukhVastu, consultations are led by Dr. Rajashree S. Chaudhari, who holds a PhD in Vastu Shastra and has consulted on more than 12,000 sites since 2007, together with her team.
Consultations are available on-site in Mumbai and online for clients anywhere in India or abroad.

What Dr. Rajashree Looks At During a Consultation
Every property is different, but most consultations cover:
- The feel of the space: Dr. Rajashree begins by taking in the overall energy of the property before checking its directions.
- Direction: Which way the property and its main entrance face, checked with a compass on site or from a marked floor plan.
- Shape of the plot or floor plan: Whether the layout is regular or has cuts and extensions in specific directions.
- Entrance placement: Where the main door or gate is located and how people move into the space.
- Room and zone placement: Where key areas sit, such as the kitchen, bedrooms, puja room, toilets, cash counter, owner's cabin or machinery.
- Use of each space: How the space is actually used day to day, not only how it appears on the plan.
- Your concerns: The specific issues you want addressed, such as business growth, family harmony or a child's study environment.
The process
How a Vastu Consultation Works
Step 1: Enquiry
Fill in the form or message us on WhatsApp with your property type, location, approximate size and main concerns. Our team shares the fee for your property. A 50% advance confirms the booking.
Step 2: Share your floor plan
Send a floor plan of the property. If you do not have one, our team can measure the property and prepare it, or you can send a hand-drawn sketch.
Step 3: Consultation
Site visits are carried out regularly across Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Vasai-Virar, Palghar, Bhiwandi, Taloja, Panvel and Pune. Other cities in India and abroad can be visited on request, with travel charges depending on the location. Online consultations over a video call are available for any location.
Step 4: Recommendations
You receive a verbal explanation and a written report. Where possible, recommendations use remedies that work without breaking walls or rebuilding. The timeline for the written report depends on the nature and size of the project. Our team will share it with you when you book.
Step 5: One year of follow-up
You get free telephonic follow-up for one year for any Vastu questions about the consulted property. A new property needs a separate consultation.
