Industrial Vastu

Industrial Vastu Consultation for Factories and Warehouses

Industrial properties are large, and changing them after construction is expensive. An industrial Vastu consultation helps plan the placement of the gate, production areas, machinery, storage and offices, either before construction or within an existing unit.

Dr. Rajashree S. Chaudhari has consulted on factories and industrial units as part of more than 12,000 sites since 2007. Industries covered include textiles, pharmaceuticals, engineering, technology, food processing, chemicals and diamond manufacturing.

Project stage

Vastu for New and Existing Industrial Units

New projects

The consultation starts at plot selection and continues through layout planning. This is where Vastu has the most impact at the lowest cost, since nothing has been built yet.

Existing factories and warehouses

The consultation assesses the current layout and recommends changes that work within your existing structure and production process.

Expansions

When adding a new shed, floor or production line, the consultation covers where the new area should be placed in relation to the existing unit.

Plot selection

Vastu for Industrial Plots

Before buying or leasing industrial land, the consultation covers:

  • Plot shape: Regular shapes are traditionally preferred. Irregular plots are assessed individually.
  • Road access: Which sides face the road and where the main gate can be placed.
  • Slope and level: The natural slope of the land.
  • Surroundings: Neighbouring structures, water bodies and high-tension lines.

Assessment

What an Industrial Vastu Consultation Covers

An industrial consultation checks the direction and placement of:

  • Main gate and internal roads
  • Heavy machinery and production lines
  • Boilers, furnaces, generators and electrical panels
  • Raw material storage
  • Finished goods and dispatch areas
  • Administrative office and owner's cabin
  • Water storage and borewells
  • Open spaces
  • Staff quarters and canteen

All recommendations take into account your production flow, safety requirements and factory regulations. Vastu is applied within these constraints, not in place of them.

Collaboration

Working With Architects and Plant Engineers

For new projects, Vastu recommendations work best when shared with your architect and engineers before the layout is finalised. Dr. Rajashree and her team work directly with your architect, engineers and the person in charge of the site.
